For the third time in recent history, American bridal designer Romona Keveža has channeled her royal intuition to anticipate some of today’s most noble nuptials with gown designs that precurse the eagerly awaited events themselves.
On May 20th, 2017, Pippa Middleton wedded James Matthews in a lace gown baring striking resemblance to the Legends Romona Keveža Fall 2017 dress (shown above left) which unveiled last year on October 6th, 2016 at New York Bridal Fashion Week. The lace sweetheart neckline full skirted gown can be worn with or without its matching lace jacket with full crew neck collar and cap sleeves.
In 2011, the Legends Romona Keveža Spring 2012 Royal Collection, (shown below) debuted at New York Bridal Week on April 9th. That year, Keveža predicted the regal style of Charlene Wittstock – Princess of Monaco whose wedding then took place in July 2nd, 2011 by designing a twisted neckline
off-the-shoulder silk gown which was nearly identical to the Princess’s save for the mother of pearl embroidery.
Coincidentally enough that same year, on April 29th, 2011, the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton stepped out of her carriage revealing to the world a dress similar to exactly what Keveža had envisioned. A Legends Romona Keveža A-line gown specifically pre-designed with the Princess in mind had also debuted earlier that month at New York Bridal Fashion Week on April 9th, 2011.

It's just been presented in New York in the spring-summer collection 2018 Romona Keveza . A brand that appeals to the international jet set, a bit aristocrat, always contemporary.
The bride Romona Keveza is multifaceted, very attentive to trends: choose removable overskirt, lace laser cut, iridescent organza, lace butterflies of applications, silk crepe that interpret minimal silhouette. No shortage of romance and richness of volumes, with unexpected golden metallic shades.

Where Legends draws from Hollywood glamour, Romona Keveza Collection is a bit more daring and multifaceted, with detachable overskirts, ornate butterfly appliqué, laser cut lace and even color, like a glitzy mermaid gown in metallic gold thread linen and gold leaf-printed silk organza. The collection is meant for a bride with a bit of brass and confidence in her sartorial choices.

Brides fashion director Bryony Toogood says: “Silk and crepe predominated at the Romona Keveza spring 2018 show at New York Bridal Week with modern architectural shapes – one-shouldered and body-skimming red carpet looks with over skirts – and a stunning gold linen gown with overskirt of gold leaf silk organza. The other side of the collection was full of sumptuous lace and soft colour hints. Our favourite was the gorgeous blush illusion halter gown of delicate butterfly lace - worthy of a flower filled country wedding.”

From the modernist to the majestic, the Romona Keveza Collection bride is a multi-faceted and diverse modern woman with a refined sensibility and admiration for fashion. With noticeable references from the ready-to-wear world, this spring offers a breadth of beauty from the streamlined to the statement making. From classic pearl to blush and even metallic gold, there is an undeniable chic sophistication to the gowns.
The collection begins with intelligent restraint as the house’s perfect signature 5-ply silk crepe is sculpted into minimalistic silhouettes – a plunging deep V-neck column gown with detachable overskirt and a romantically austere one-shoulder dress with fluted skirt. The collection develops into the more ornate, both in fabrication and body as an iridescent couture organza is transparent over a short underskirt, blush butterflies crafted in lace adorn a halter gown, and laser cut lace envelopes a sheath dress with a daringly low back and dramatic train. In true finale form - fit for the confident, regal bride, metallic gold thread linen is sculpted into a strapless mermaid gown with a detachable overskirt made of the finest gold leaf printed silk organza.
