(New York, NY - September 12th, 2019) The Spring 2020 Romona Keveža Collection draws inspiration from collectable art and honors Couture techniques of the past with luxurious fabrics, complex shapes and masterful techniques.

The collection opens with a vibrant Chinoiserie inspired Opera coat made of floral Mikado, paired with a Black jumpsuit featuring a plunging v-neckline. A striking Chartreuse gown with floor length cape and a Miró Blue gown with asymmetrical neckline and tiered skirt, provide the perfect balance of drama and sophistication.

A series of stretch crepe gowns follow, mixing sharp architectural lines with flowing accents that are powerful yet feminine.

Keveža also plays with texture combining a translucent Italian net overskirt with a Black stretch crepe one-shoulder cocktail dress and a 5-ply silk crepe cocktail dress featuring a delicate satin pleated detail.

The moulded bodices of the Purple gown with pleated detailing and Pearl cocktail dress with a corset bodice, showcase the expert craftsmanship the Romona Keveža brand is known for.

The collection culminates with a Black 5-ply silk crepe gown, featuring a sequined bodice, illusion long sleeves and an intricate overskirt showcasing depth and dimension.

The Spring 2020 Romona Keveža Collection is a refreshing take on minimalism revealing the beauty in simplicity and expertly crafted.

Despite their 18 year age difference, Janelle Monáe and Marsai Martin have a lot in common. They’re both killing it at their respective crafts (Martin is a fan favorite on Black-ish; Monáe is touring and set to headline the second season of Amazon’s Homecoming), producing new projects like crazy, and killing it on every single red carpet that they step on to. So when we found out that — surprise! — they’re related, it actually wasn’t all that shocking.

Janelle Monáe: My favorite look of yours was your gown at the NAACP Image Awards. You looked stunning.

Marsai Martin: Aw, thanks! I liked the Romona Keveza dress I wore to the BET Awards too. It was all gold, and I was like, “This is a trophy outfit.”

As Cheryl Burke prepared to wed her groom, Matthew Lawrence, at a luxurious resort in San Diego, the weather forecast for the day wasn’t promising. “The morning was cloudy, and it threatened to rain,” Lawrence, 39, says of their May 23 celebration. You couldn’t have asked for a more perfect movie moment. The festivities cap off a 12 year love story for the couple, and like the finale of any good romantic comedy, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
