Florals are, of course, a forever wedding fashion theme, but this season, designers took the nature motif to the next level with celebratory color-play: bold and vibrant embroidery, as seen from Temperley London and Naeem Khan; breathtaking 3D appliqués from Claire Pettibone and Gracy Accad; joyful prints from Romona Keveža and White One by Pronovias.

(Tuesday, April 6th, 2021 New York, NY) For the first time ever Romona Keveza introduces a collector’s limited edition. Titled “The Secret Garden” it consists of an extraordinary bouquet of handmade floral bridal gowns. In a time where sustainability and reducing our carbon footprint couldn’t be more important Keveza has brought back from her atelier’s archives a limited selection of creations in a numbered series. All of these gowns are made to order and no more than 25 creations per style will be allowed to be purchased for a majority of these bespoke masterpieces. The gowns will be touring to select retailers globally and orders can only be placed exclusively at special events held by these luxury boutiques.

“These hand printed and floral embellished fabrications are so incredibly special and after a certain amount of each gown is made, they will no longer be available. These master-crafted gowns are truly a collector’s piece.”

The collection opens with a floral and crystal encrusted fit and flare strapless gown that blossoms with the essence of spring. An exquisite grouping of ball gowns each draped in pastel watercolor silks, continue the promise of a new season with lively colors of viola and cherry blossom.

Like the dew, fresh on the morning petals; Swarovski crystals accent the beautiful, intricate hand embroidered details of a one shoulder ballgown in Sunrise blush and lavender sweetheart gowns that follow.

An architecturally master crafted one shoulder bloom bursts to life in the next gown, set in Keveza’s signature 5-ply silk crepe with translucent illusion overskirt. Followed by a beautifully draped lily fluted skirted gown that features an asymmetrical neckline.

The secret garden story concludes with a lush Tuscan print in silk Mikado, for the woman who is unapologetic in her expression of imagination. Rich terracotta tones and sunset yellows are closely juxtaposed with ivy greens, deep beet red and soft lavender.

New York-based wedding dress designer Romona Keveza has three labels under her purview, her eponymous signature collection, LEGENDS, and ROMONA. All three brands just debuted a brand-new roster of gowns—no small feat in the context of a global pandemic.

Take one look at all three labels—you'll get a glimpse at Keveza's trifecta in the slides ahead—however, and you'll quickly realize that the lauded designer had no issues with becoming and remaining inspired while making these series. The Romana Keveza collection, consistently known for its minimalist, impactful gowns, is full of sculpted bodices and ensembles with strong, clean architectural lines; these numbers are crafted from the creative's iconic five-ply silk crepe. The standouts of this line? Pearl-encrusted numbers (each pearl was hand-stiched onto silk shantung taffeta) and a statement opera coat—it's the ultimate after-party piece.
